PLECS models are built in Simulink. During the transformation process, we load a Simulink library containing the transformation function. In some cases, you may need to install additional open source libraries to access the transformation function. These libraries are packaged along with the engineering tools.
PLECS is written in C++. After a model has been created, it is installed in the default directory when it is first run. There are two ways to run PLECS. You can start PLECS manually from the command line. Or you can start PLECS with Simulink/C++Simulation. If you have started PLECS manually from the command line, you may need to restart Matlab and open a new Simulink/C++Simulation session.
